Cedar House is a traditional detached property in Ransom Wood Business Park, a 70-acre woodland park on the southern outskirts of Mansfield, 10 minutes from the M1 (junction 27/28) and with easy access from several main routes in and out of Mansfield. Cedar House is registered by OFSTED and can accommodate up to 40 children each day aged 3 months to 5 years. There is ample parking and a spacious, enclosed, secure garden and woodland play area to the rear of the property with access to the woods for walks and further exploration.

Day Nursery Mansfield

The building is a traditional detached property converted on all levels to accommodate 40 children aged from 3 months – 5 years. This family-run environment allows children, families, and staff to establish close relationships with one another.

A calm, homely environment for children with lots of wood and natural resources

Our Baby and Toddler rooms are located on the ground floor with each area having direct access to creative activities and dining facilities. Also on the ground floor there is to be a newly refitted kitchen, cloakroom, toddler toilet and baby-changing facilities. The first floor accommodates the Pre-school children and incorporates a creative/dining area, role play area, ICT facilities and a range of equipment, materials, toys and games to support their learning and development. This floor also includes offices and a staff rest area.

Exceptional Pre-School Mansfield

Our Pre-school an attractive room designed to promote learning. A Smartboard to develop ICT skills, lots of resources for number and counting and a wide range of resources to support literacy.

Our Outside Area

Our extensive, outdoors curriculum has an expansive array of learning materials and opportunities for all our children.

Our large garden has been divided into zones to allow all our children to engage in outside play in a safe, stimulating outdoor learning environment. The garden zones include a covered all-weather surface, a woodland play area and an educational zone with a planting area. The play area incorporates a range of exciting woodland based features including a wigwam village, a construction area, a fairy glen, ‘stretch and challenge’ equipment and a storytelling area.

From our homely interior space, to our expansive outdoor adventures, our caring ethos ensures our children feel safe, secure and valued. In such a supportive, reassuring environment, our children become happy, confident and skilled, very soon gaining a love for learning and a desire for challenge
